3 Point Linkage small Backhoe attachment

Hi all
I am interested in any experience on 3 point linkage backhoe for a small tractor (26HP) Kubota L2202.

are these toys? I used one more than 30 years ago and it was pretty hopeless, but I understand that the equipment available is far better today. Such as the Del Morino's.

I understand that these things are built for a purpose, and my requirements are small scale, small trenching & some leveling.

Any advice would be great.

Hi Tom,

I have a tp link backhoe on my tractor which is 60hp.

I have not regretted purchasing the backhoe. It is not as good as a dedicated machine but still useful.

First task was removing root balls from some small shrubs; a couple of hours on a shovel and pick, a few minutes wth the backhoe. Terracing a mild slope for a veg gardenl; a couple of days with a shovel versus a couple of hours with the backhoe. Turning a sheer drop into a slope for cattle to get to water; great with the backhoe, probably would not have attempted it otherwise.

For big jobs I would stil get a contractor and the smaller jobs can be done with a pick and shovel but the backhoe makes it so much easier and quicker (even with my inept use of the controls). Would I buy it again with my experience so far - absolutley.
