Type of cattle that do well at Crookwell?

Im on 200ac at Crookwell, hoping to buy Murray Greys.   Will buy (or drop) in spring and sell in late Autum after 20 days on sillage or fodder. BUT not sure of what to do for the rest of this season. Pasture improved, water all good, feed up to your knees, good shade

Mike,

You could try to get some stores/weaners and finish them but it would be lots of money. You could do a smaller run of stores and bale some of the fodder for future use/sale.
