Pasture improvement
Hi guys my name is brad and I'm located in south west Victoria I've always leased land here and there and reared plenty of calves as a hobby farmer but I've recently expanded just a little bit and purchased 80 acres. Of which the grass on it is looking quite tired and it had been kept highly stocked and I plan to start to seed drill some of it out but my question is am I able to drill a perinnial seed straight into it next autumn (spraying out first) as I know most dairy farmers in my region might drill an annual then follow up with the perinnial so I basically wanted to know the negatives to drilling it straight in and/or why the farmers go an annual first
