Tractor help - diesel pump removal

Hey All I have a Same Corsaro 70 Hp tractor. Fuel pump is leaking into the oil and I need to remove the pump. Its all unbolted but wont slide off - lose but sounds like a gear is hitting. I don't want to start removing the power steering pump unless I need to and as usual there is very little information available on ho to work on these old tractors. Anyone got any clues as to how to remove the pump. Thanks Mick

Hi Mick, As a HD Diesel Fitter I suggest you purchase a workshop manual. I found many available immediately for your tractor. Even a tradie uses, or should use, workshop manuals. The cost of the manual will be recouped in first job such as this. The fuel pump will require timing also upon install. I dont know how you identified the pump as the culprit but injectors also leak into the cylinders causing wash on the cylinder bores and into the engine oil sump. Good luck.
