What are commercial sheep?

Hello, Looking at purchasing a small starter flock of 10 sheep. I see sale ads for purebred, or commercial quality, or they don't say either way. My intention is to eventually build to levels to on sell sheep at sale yards or abba tours. Does this mean I need commercial quality? Thanks in advance

Hi Jusfarming,

Often sheep are referred to as commercial or stud quality. Commercial grade are of lesser qaulity than stud stock. I would start with the best quality genetics that you can afford.
