Valpadana 7070

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and are looking for some help. We run a ginseng farm on some hilly country.
A Valpadana 7070 tractor came with the property when we purchased 12 years ago. This is a 4-wheel Drive unit with a 68hp motor and has all 4 wheels the same size. Low centre of gravity ideal for hills. It has been great and handles the slopes really well.
We have had a rear axel break just before Christmas and find that this part is no longer available from the manufacturer.(tractor made in mid 80's).

Making Tractor attachments

Hi all,
I have searched online and can’t seem to find any answers. Would anyone be able to steer me in the right direction or have any information on making tractor attachments?
I own a steel fabrication company and have made myself and a few mates some tractor push stick rakes/excavator stick rakes.
Was looking at starting a small little side business of selling these and advertising online. Does anyone know if I need any special qualifications?? Formal certificates? I am based in NSW.
Thanks in advance

Some advice on tractor implements.

Hello everyone,

After much research and with some deals going around , I ended up with a Kubota M8540 tractor.
I on a small 20 acre block. We live in north east VIC and the soil is black clay.
I am keen to get some advice on whether I get a rotary hoe and a power harrow or whether both of those are a bad idea.
i am also looking to get a bed former ( small one ).

Mulcher vs Slasher

Hi,

I would appreciate anyones experince on Mulchers versus Slashers.

I recently purchased a mulcher rather than a slasher on the basis that it would be able to cut long grass and small saplings as well as a slasher.
