Due to work changes, I will be having more time to farm the block. So far I have built a small shack for dry overnight stays, and cleared 90% of the blackberries on the property. Of the first 4 apple trees planted as a test, 2 are alive, 1 is thriving but not fruiting, one is just recovering, and the other two were destroyed by the neighbours sheep.

I have purchased and planted 14 heratige cider apple trees further up the hill, and fenced them off properly this time.

The river flats get quite boggy during winter, so looking at some major landscapping works to make it more useable (more fruit trees, a few steers?)

Still making plans to build a house/ castle. And trying to work out the best animals to run, or cash crops.
