Lemon/Lime in Moorland

Dear All,

Have been trying to find a agronomist/horticulturist to interpret soil testing results recently done by Department of Primary Industries.

Small farm, getting ready...Not even sure if lemon/lime could be grown in our area. Any kind of advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi rpop,

Welcome to the forum.

Each soil testing laboratory usually has their own staff that can interpret the soil test resullts for you. If the DPI does not offer this service you may be able to contact a local rural store and have the agronomist assess them.

Regards,

Charlie

Dear Charlie, Thank you for reply. The trouble is that I can't find agronomist in that area, could be mainly due to other farms/farmers being cattle breeders. Had a look online but it seems that it's all about improving pastures and keeping all kind of live stock. Cheers

Hi rpop,

You might be able to contact another laboratory and see if they have a consultant willing to interpret the soil test results, if they are not able to help they may know of a private agronomist with horticultural experience.
