Naming our Farm????

Hi everyone, hope you all are well. Just wondering how to register our farm/property name? I understand the brand name through DAF / PIC to tag animals, however i can't seem to find anything about registering our actual farm.

We have a company setup and I researched names I liked, Aboriginal meanings because we're in Australia, then I did a search online to make sure it wasn't taken or perhaps landed in the world of 'freaky names you don't want to be remembered for', and then we registered the company name.

 

I applied for our PIC today and it asked for a name but didn't check anything to see if it was an official name, but because we already have one, including the domain names to match it wasn't an issue.

 

I'm not sure if that's the correct way to do this, but that is how I did it and it's working for us.
