Aerial Drones for farming

Hello I am starting a business selling Drones and wonder if they would be applicable to farming for things like viewing paddocks etc.?:

Having sold our farm interests last year in the idea of exploring other farming/Ag options this is one of the options we had looked at. There is a few companies now who are focusing on farmers with their UAV's and with more entering the field I would imagine the market has the potential to be flooded rather quickly. I have seen several options both here and overseas and some of them are very well suited to farming and agriculture but like mssot industries there is also those who just want to make a quick buck and are willing to sell a product that does not fully suit the need. With careful planning and research the potential to sell such items to farmers is huge, price will always be a factor because while the UAV's themselves may not be overly expensive making them an invaluable tool for farmers will add costs.It's a matter of weighing up those costs and working out if the product at the end of the day is still viable, anyone can buy a UAV and fly it, a farmer needs more, but it needs to be affordable.

I think you need to be able to link the data from the drone to applications on the ground.

Eg identify specific weed types using infra red and plot their positions using gps so the land owner can not only have some idea of density, but can also find them in the field for control measures.  what about automaticly spraying them?

Ofcourse, it can be used to roam above the fields and keep an eye over paddocks and others facilities can be taken like keeping an eye over farmers goats and sheeps too.
