Hello we are on a 73 acre property in Tasmania. 25 acres of paddocks... the rest is bush. Our experience is looking after friends farms whilst they are on holiday! . It is taken us 25 years to finally own our own farm. We have learnt over the years how important it is to have a plan and to know your soil and your own limitations. For us it is not an income generating property but rather a lifestyle choice. We could easily put multiple animals onto our property, but we are choosing not to.
My husband & I along with our four children have owned our 60 acre farm for 11 years and previously ran sheep and horses. We have now turned to Free Range Organic Pig farming with a small herd of Berkshire's. We only breed Berkshire Pigs a "Heritage Breed" bred for its marbling & flavourful taste.

Hi all
New to the forum. We are on 9 acs at South Lockwood VIC. We also have 80 acs about 50k away. Grew up on farms but have been away for for some time and coming home. Pretty good feeling to touch the dirt and walk the ground again. Great to see others efforts and aspirations and learn from them.

Hi there.
I'm new here. Currently a city slicker but as long as i can remember have dreamed of one day living out in the country on a farm. Husband and I both growing tired of our jobs and busy city life and traffic. We have zero farming or even country living experience. I'd love somewhere Central West NSW, North Coast NSW, North East NSW or even South East QLD. Would love 10 to 20 acres or more with maybe a mix of some animals and/or produce. Like a hobby/lifestyle farm i guess.
Hi All,
I'm running 100 head of Angus/Brangus based cattle on 140 acres of floodplain fattening country near Kempsey NSW.
Had the place for about a year, and am working on cleaning it up while doing the usual cattle duties.
Look forward to learning new things here.
